The Computers That Was Given to Students by Paul Biya is The Latest Technology. We Can Not Find Anyone Better Than The Ones We Share Anywhere in the World ...These Computers Will Allow Our Students to Become Entrepreneurs while They Are Still In The University , Says Fame Ndongo

Question: You have officially launched the delivery of computers promised by the Head of State to students. You are finally free from student pressure ...

Fame Ndongo  : Yes, it is the university community in general who says thank you to his Excellency Paul Biya , Head of State, apostle of the university governing nation for this exceptional and unpublished university donation. I must specify that the cost price of each computer is 300 000 FCFA and that the Head of State has decided to completely cancel this financial burden. So every student does not pay anything. I must also specify that they are technically reliable and efficient computers. Which are equipped with an Intel 350M processor, a Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, a Microsoft Office 365 production software. This is the latest technology in terms of SSD memory capacity. We can not find better anywhere else in the world. The Head of State did what he says and he always said what he does.

Question: This is computers in good form despite their small size.

Fame Ndongo  : Of course. You know that we are talking to students who have to put these computers in their binders. It should not be that the computer is colossal, elephantine. The computer should be easy to manipulate. And that's what is already happening around the world. I must point out in some countries, the computer has the surface and volume of a mobile phone. So, these computers, despite their small size, are effective. Do not go to Microsoft who wants, but, excuse me the parody, but who can. We were able to tie in with Microsoft, which is the world leader in the field. So these are powerful computers, because Microsoft does not come anywhere anyhow and do anything.

Question: Nearly 4,000 students are gathered at the University of Yaoundé I for this solemn launch. Will they all be served?

Fame Ndongo  : They will not all be served. Because we insist on the biometric test to avoid duplication, duplication and whimsical distributions. We will try to start today, with 1000 students and the rest will be the competence of the rector of the University of Yaoundé I. But we insist, the Head of State insists that the distribution is done at the university. the yardstick of university biometrics. And tomorrow (December 27, 2017 Editor's note), as you know, we will be at the University of Yaounde II-Soa for the same operation.

Question: What is the added value of these computers for the training of Cameroonian students?

Fame Ndongo  : As you know, no serious university today, does not ignore the digital university. Digital education has become essential in all major universities around the world that respect each other. And the universities of Cameroon respect each other. These are great universities. They must be at the forefront of the digital revolution. This is the gift granted by the Head of State to Cameroonian students so that our universities are always at the forefront of digital education.

A university that works only in the field of analog education, is a university late, out of sync. Our universities have chosen to be at the forefront of digital progress, the Head of State encourages and accompanies them. We know that they will be worthy of this leniency and magnanimity of the President of the Republic, his Excellency Paul Biya who makes Cameroonian youth the spearhead of the nation. Because, it is the future managers of our nation and the Head of State wants them to be trained in the respect of quality assurance. And today, quality assurance is primarily digital education.

But we do not forget professionalisation, because these computers will allow our students to embark on digital start-ups and become entrepreneurs while they are still in university. This is also the academic modernity desired by the Head of State. They will be able to self-employ.
