Nganang explains that for two years, he had begun to favor during his stays in Cameroon the company said local activists for his "self-protection". He explains that it was they who launched the alert when he was arrested in Douala. That he took care to hide the manuscript from his next book on his Facebook page, that he was handcuffed at the time of his deportation. Nganang talks about a presidential treatment and recounts moments of his visit to the premises of the Judicial Police Directorate in Yaoundé. So he opens the bag and realizes that I had an American passport in this bag. You know I think they are given bonuses for discovering new things (...) I have never seen someone so happy! He was running up the stairs: "Boss !!! I have a new element (bursts of laughter). He's carrying my bag, he even wanted to empty it, calm down again: "here's what I found in the bag." There were some paperwork, addresses, etc. "

"On my first night in this office, police officer came because the police doing the torture in this office are doing it there. I did not suffer but I experienced torture. I saw the swing. A young man suspected of stealing motorcycles. This is what happens there in general, so the scam of 50,000 or 20,000 CFA Francs. We turn the young man. Coincidentally, I had taken a few pages of the new penal code which was in the office of one of these officers. I had taken anyway to read and see a little more than I knew. I show this to the torturer, I tell him: "you are doing torture there. He says, "But am I doing torture? I do not torture people! He says, "Am I doing torture? I do not torture people! I say to him: but the gentleman is there in the swing like that! What is it but torture? He says: Professor, what you say on TV does not make sense! He said to the young man, "Am I torturing you? Answer of this one: "no, no" (bursts of laughter). He looks at me: "I have not tortured him, he is the one who says it". The case is closed, "says Nganang.
