Yola — The Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) formerly known as Federal University of Technology, Yola (FUTY) is closed down indefinitely by the school management due to crisis that erupt between Christian and Muslim student as a result of SUG election that took place in the school , after a Christian student emerged the winner.
Source reveals to our reporters that the Christian student candidates swept the votes of all the position from president to PRO , protests started since yesterday Mosques , Churches and houses were burnt. Two unidentified students were reportedly killed at the time of reporting.
The school is closed down indefinitely for now by the school management.
