It Was The CPDM Party That Urge Biya to Run For The Upcoming Presidential Election, Says Djibril

In the field of mobilization, the Rassemblement démocratique des peuple camerounais (CPDM), a political party in power, is obviously more visible in Cameroon as a whole. Its senior executives multiply meetings with the party base on the same common denominator, to ensure the triumph of the various CPDM candidates in the various upcoming elections.

It is in this perspective that Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, President of the National Assembly and Head of the Permanent Regional Delegation of the Central Committee of the CPDM in the Far North Region, held a meeting with the militants of his party on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Maroua.

On this occasion, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril reiterated the call of his base for a new candidacy of Paul Biya, Head of State of Cameroon for 36 years. He then insisted that the expected "raid" of the CPDM should start with the senatorial elections scheduled for Sunday, March 25, 2018.

"If the others are agitated, we in the CPDM act. At a Mega-meeting in April 2016, we were the first to urge His Excellency Mr. Paul Biya, National President of our party, to run for the presidential election. Our party must maintain its leadership over all scheduled elections, starting with the 2018 senatorial, "said the CPDM boss in the Far North Region.

Cavaye Yeguie Djibril also appealed to the Sacred Union in this pre-election period. "Which means that we must make the past clear, that our quarrels subside and start from scratch with the ambition to consolidate the leadership of the party," explained the third personality of the Republic.
