February 18, 2019, The Network of Human Rights Defenders in Central Africa (REDHAC), is very concerned about the threats and other reprisals to the situation of Human Rights Defenders and other activists in particular Philippe NANGA Coordinator of a World Future.
The facts:
For several months, Philippe NANGA underwent repeated spinning and surveillance on sight by police officers identified but in plain clothes.

They decide to mark a stop by entering a bakery not far from the offices.
Unfortunately having taken the path, the same car was again on their heels. Panic-stricken, Philippe NANGA's staff suggested that he spend the night at a friend's house.
On February 1st, 2019, at 8:12 am, Philippe NANGA received a call from an unknown number; The appellant says: "It was not a good thing to present the results of your observation, which gives Maurice KAMTO victorious, at a time when he is in trouble with the power in place". Two of his staff received calls saying "you have made your election report public, it is good but careful".
From February 4 to 11, the NGO Un Monde Avenir planned to organize a coffee debate bringing together young people from English-speaking regions and those from the coastal region, on the theme: "Young people's eyes on the so-called Anglophone crisis".
