An unknown number of people are feared dead after the military stormed a locality called ‘Je Jombo’ at the out skirt of Jevi Village in Ako Sub Division in the North West of Cameroon.
Residents fleeing from the locality say the military burnt all the houses this morning -Saturday 2nd March 2019.
The military assumed that Ambazonian forces have set up a camp in the area and then launched attack.
Earlier on Thursday, a man was shot dead by a man in military uniform in Jeyu village.
Few inhabitants of Ako sub division that have been seeking refuge in Nkambe say unreported manslaughter is taking place in villages there as there is no telephone network and internet in the sub division for several months now.
Thousands have fled to Taraba state in the federal republic of Nigeria while some are in bushes.
