Revealed: how Alamine Mey wanted to rust Paul Biya

The correspondence sent a few days ago by the Secretary General to the Presidency of the Republic (SGPR) Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh to the Prime Minister Dion Nguté regarding the appointment of the PCA, DG and DGA of the State companies continues to punctuate the political news in Cameroon.

In its publication of this Friday, August 30, 2019, the newspaper "L'Epervier" which returns on the subject indicates that this mail comes to defeat "plan of destabilization of the institutions of the Republic" hatched by the former Minister of Finance Alamine Ousmane Mey.

According to the newspaper's revelations, Alamine Mey allegedly manipulated the limitation of mandates through the 2017 law to deprive President Paul Biya of his power of appointment and to remove from his authority the PCA, DG and DGA of the Establishments public.

"The purpose of Alamine Mey was to establish and control the network of appointment of corporate officers of public companies, in order to settle the accounts to all his political enemies, getting rid of caciques who have already more than nine years of post" , writes the newspaper.

This maneuver would have been quickly detected by the Head of State who quickly perceived a plan to cause the cacophony in the device of nomination and institutional Chaos, underlines the newspaper.

And to recommend that the minister Alamine Mey be "questioned on the supposed or real motives of his political negligence".
