Bolloré's son Announced in Etoudi, to hold a meet with Paul Biya

Various sources announce Cyrille Bolloré at the Unity Palace earlier this week for an interview with the Cameroonian president, the main subject being the concession of the container terminal of the port of Douala-Bonabéri.

After having been pronounced by Paul Biya by a letter of September 12th, 2019, Cyrille BollorĂ© intends to accentuate the offensive.  The sound of French billionaire Vincent BollorĂ© is announced at the beginning of this week in Yaounde, where he plans to meet the head of state.  The hearing, it is said, should be held Tuesday, October 6 at the Palace of Unity.

If it takes place, the hearing should focus on the concession of the storyteller of the port of Douala-BonabĂ©ri, whose process has been discussed in several recent months.  Cyrille BollorĂ© hopes to bring Paul Biya to intervene in favor of Douala International Terminal (DIT), a subsidiary of the French group, which has lost its status to the concession of this infrastructure, in favor of Terminal Investment Limited (TIL).

Cyrille BollorĂ©, whose father has special relations with President Biya, comes with two proposals in his briefcase.  The same sources speak of a first offer that would consist of paying the 24 billion FCFA of parking fees for the year 2018, that the Port Authority of Douala (PAD) claims to DIT.  In the second offer, BollorĂ© would consider paying royalties equal to or higher than those of the Swiss group TIL, which amounted to 357 billion FCFA over 15 years with an entry fee of 24 billion FCFA payable at the signing of the contract.

In his September letter, Cyrille BollorĂ© was already asking for the intervention of Paul Biya, accusing "certain Cameroonian authorities" of having disqualified him from his own succession to the concession, even though there was an agreement signed with the  port for a 4-year extension of his contract.  Meanwhile, the case is pending before the national and international courts.  The appointment of TIL as a concessionary concessionaire had been announced by the CEO of the PAD, Cyrus Ngo'o, while the Douala-Bonanjo Administrative Court had just ordered the suspension of the designation process.
