The President of the Republic did not fail to expose the measures taken by the government to provide solutions to the Anglophone crisis, by creating, in particular, the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism.
" I have always thought that bilingualism and multiculturalism are exceptional assets for our country, in that they allow us to have access to two great cultures and to dialogue, in their languages, with a large number of people. countries, especially in Africa. I am convinced that the vast majority of Cameroonians share this point of view. That is why I will persist in seeking solutions that will strengthen our national unity , "said Paul Biya.
Patricia Scotland's visit ends next Friday. The remainder of the program of his stay includes a courtesy call on the Minister of External Relations, as well as meetings with the President of the Senate and the President of the National Assembly, and with the High Commissioners accredited in Yaounde.
