Ambazonia: what Macron advised Paul Biya that he refuses to follow

While his French masters invite all the people to take part in a national dialogue to definitively solve the crisis of yellow vests launched there is barely 2 months, in Cameroon, "the best student of France" seems rather turned towards a resolution, by arms, of the English crisis that shakes Cameroon for almost 3 years.

To reduce all English dissidents to silence, this is the last resolution just taken by the Cameroonian Head of State. "If the call to lay down the weapons that I launched to war contractors remains unanswered, the defense and security forces will be instructed to neutralize them. ", He said yesterday on the facebook page of the Presidency of the Republic.

This ultimatum Paul Biya comes at the same time that in France his counterpart Emmanuel Macron calls all the French people to dialogue to find definitive solutions to the crisis of yellow vests, which jeopardizes the security and the French institutions since last October. According to Emmanuel Macron, the French proposals "will allow to build a new contract for the Nation, to structure the action of the Government and the Parliament, but also the positions of France at European and international level".

Paul Biya, pure sugar product of France, who claimed under the former President François Mitterrand to be the best student of the metropolis did he not assimilated his lessons? At the beginning, this crisis would never have begun if the Cameroonian Head of State had been in favor of the dialogue.

Despite incessant calls for dialogue, both from the opposition, the Church, and the international community, Paul Biya opposed all these proposals and favored the logic of decay, which today forces him to opt for total militarization of the conflict zones.

For proof, let us quote the correspondences of Ni John Fru Ndi, Akere Muna, Christopher Fomunyoh, all addressed to the president of the Republic and in which they called to the dialogue; The blockade imposed by Sdf deputies at the National Assembly during the 2017 budget session; or the "all anglophone conference", initiated by Cardinal Christian Tumi, are among other initiatives of dialogue refuted without a way by the regime in place. Instead, Paul Biya and his government attempted a state trick by sending government emissaries to meet the English-speaking separatists.

This step, which was nothing more than an underwater dialogue, under a background of corruption, ended in a bitter failure. In addition, Paul Biya unilaterally increased the number of decrees, from the creation of the Bilingualism and Multiculturalism Commission to the Disarmament Committee and the Humanitarian Assistance Plan, which until now have not been able to provide early resolution of this internal crisis which, after nearly 3 years, has already made more than 20,000 refugees and thousands of deaths.

Following Emmanuel Macron, will Paul Biya attempt a catch-up? Nothing suggests for the moment a possible flipping jacket. Unless perhaps his masters impose on him, the head of the Cameroonian state seems rather decided to silence the English-speaking impulses by the weapons.
