Four secessionist fighters reportedly arrested in Ebolowa

After fleeing the English-speaking regions, they had retreated to the southern communities.

Four alleged Ambazonian separatist fighters were arrested in the cities of Kyé-Ossi, Ambam and Ebolowa last week, according to a military source close to the investigation. After their arrest, they were heard by a specialized defense and security unit in Ebolowa.

According to another source of the defense and security forces, "Ambazonian separatist fighters have admitted to being among those who have executed soldiers, gendarmes and police officers in the English-speaking regions".

According to the information received, "the arrested separatists also indicated that they had withdrawn to the southern region because they did not want to go back to the front". In the same operation of the four English-speaking separatist fighters arrested, another source close to the military investigation indicates that "other Ambazonian separatist fighters are in several towns in the Southern region such as Ebolowa, Ambam and Kyé-Ossi ". On Thursday, February 14, 2019, the four Ambazonian separatist fighters were transferred to Yaoundé for thorough investigations.
