Ambazonia: 'The place of Ayuk Tabe is thus in prison' a political activist says referencing to Article 111 of the Penal Code


This is what the political activist and former municipal councilor of the Social Democratic Front supports, about the fate decreed to the leaders of the imaginary state of Ambazonia.

Interviewed on Wednesday on the TV channel Vision4, for his opinion on the condemnation of separatist leaders, the promoter of the platform KAWTAL, believes that the sentence inflicted on Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and company highlights the application of the penal code with regard to regards secession in Cameroon.

He appealed to Article 111 of the Penal Code which stipulates that "any person who has the sole intention of participating in the partition of Cameroon shall be sentenced to life imprisonment"

For him, according to this article, "the place of Mr. Ayuk is in prison," he told the microphone Vision4.

Recall that Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and 9 other secessionist leaders were sentenced Tuesday to life imprisonment by the military court. In addition to the life sentence, the court ordered them to pay 125 billion FCFA to the State of Cameroon as damages and 125 billion FCFA to the civil party.
