Violent gunshots were heard in several localities in the North West and South West regions this morning.
In the south-west, residents report hearing gunfire in particular in Muyuka where streets were temporarily blocked by armed men.
In the North West, the same atmosphere of tension has been going on since yesterday. Gunfire fought between defense and security forces and separatist activists, particularly in Bamenda. Gunmen arriving in the city fired at Commercial Avenue, Mile 7 and 8, a good part of the day. A military source reports that they are seeking the release of Sisiku AYUK TABE and Company, sentenced to life imprisonment by the Yaoundé Military Court on Tuesday morning
