Six elements of the Cameroonian defense and security forces have been reportedly killed in a boko Haram attack in Soueram far north region of Cameroon. The frontier post of the multinational joint task force was attack by the terrorists on September 14th, 2019 at around 9pm.
According to sources, the terrorists arrived Soueram in Makary Subdivision after a battle on the other side of the border, named Louggo, where they first attacked a military base on the Nigerian side.
As they Crossed the river from behind, they took the elements of the Cameroon defense forces unaware, killing 4 soldiers and 2 Gendarmerie elements at spot, while several others were reportedly injured.
