National Dialogue: 'Paul Biya should begin to deal directly with the Ambazonian leader, President Sisiku Ayuk Tabe

Despite the increasing atrocities of the French army in Cameroon and southern Cameroon and against the leaders of Ambazonia, Biya and his band of Cameroonian political elites should begin to deal directly with the Ambazonian leader, President Sisiku Ayuk Tabe, in order to control the violence, bring both sides of the political divide to the negotiating table in a foreign country and with a neutral third party to chair the negotiations.

Biya's recent call for national dialogue, which has become more and more common in Franco-Cameroon editorials, in front of the French-dominated national assembly and in open-door cabinet meetings in the Star Building presided over by Prime Minister Minister Dion Ngute, will be doomed.

The French-speaking political elites who erected a stone wall to prevent Biya from talking with Ambazonian leaders make the same mistake as the late Prof. Martin Belinga and Rene Sadi, deceiving the Buhari government in Nigeria, arresting President Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and his key collaborators will end hostilities.

The Franco-Cameroonian political elites who say that the so-called national dialogue should take place without the imprisoned leaders of Ambazonia do not understand the nature of the crisis in South Cameroon and the Provisional Government of Southern Cameroon.

We, from the Cameroon Concord News Group, do not believe that this is a duel between two personalities, Biya and Ayuk Tabe. It is a confrontation between two different peoples, French Cameroon and Southern British Cameroon. Therefore, ignoring the fact that President Sisiku Ayuk Tabe represents the people of southern Cameroon is a costly mistake on the part of French Cameroon - their hopes, their despair, their mistakes and their language and not Peter Mafany Musonge, Atanga Nji or Dion Ngute. It is also an illusion to think that if Sisiku Ayuk Tabe were kept in prison for life, the problems of the one and indivisible Cameroon would be solved.

Pro Biya comedians, such as Ngolle Ngolle Elvis, Victor Mengot, Paul Tasong and Elung Paul, also forget, if not unrealistic, the broad support of the international diaspora of southern Cameroon that President Sisiku Ayuk has cultivated from South Africa. South and Europe up to a large part of the United States, Canada.

The arrest of President Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and his senior aides in Abuja, Nigeria, and the systematic infiltration of the provisional Ambazonia government by Dr Sako Ikome by French agents in Cameroon led to the loss of control of the armed Ambazonia factions operating in the north of the country. and southern areas of Ambazonia.

To preserve Biya's legacy and peace in the Gulf of Guinea, Biya and French Cameroon must ensure that the Provisional Government of Ambazonia has a unique authority over guns in southern Cameroon. Financing the creation of several militias in the south of Cameroon is not the solution but makes things more difficult to manage.

Although Ambazonia's restoration forces have not launched any fatal attacks on French soldiers in Cameroon over the last few days, it is clear that these attacks will resume, as the diaspora has begun to regroup under the patriotic citizen banner of Amba and collect tens of thousands of dollars in 72 hours. to fund the resistance and its imprisoned leadership.

Biya and French Cameroon should for the last time avoid counterproductive acts that could further aggravate the situation and lead to fighting in French Cameroon. To this precarious situation is added the fact that it is indeed difficult to say who has the legitimate authority in French Cameroon.

Cameroon's French Interior Minister Paul Atanga Nji has constantly contradicted Prime Minister Dion Ngute on the way forward to resolve the crisis in Ambazonia. Biya himself has also turned around on his position! Today, he does not talk to terrorists. tomorrow he is willing to talk to the separatists. However, his acolytes insist that when he articulates his policy, he speaks for the entire government of French Cameroon.

In his rare televised address to French-speaking Cameroonians, Biya did not propose anything as a long-term plan for Cameroonians in the South. We in the Concord Group know that Biya will come under intense criticism if he meets President Sisiku Ayuk Tabe, but that will be the right thing to do.

Biya and French Cameroon say they can not negotiate under the fire of the Ambazonia interim government, but Vice President Dabney Yerima of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia also said Biya should speak to imprisoned Ambazonia leaders to know how to end the fire.
